I have to do better !!

Today we wrote an essay for the entire class period. The essay prompt was not hard. I was just unprepared. I had forgotten that on Monday he mentioned we would be writing an essay. I forgot to review characterization like I said I would. Because of my unprepared mindset, I know I did not work to the best of my ability.

I was absent today because of an ambassador event. During the event I gave a speech. The speech was about a minute long, but it felt like it lasted a lifetime. I was nervous will giving my speech; fortunately, I didn’t mess up or sound scripted.

Kahoot

Today we played Kahoot to review the short story “Yellow-Wallpaper. My group came in first place and as a result we earned a total of twenty five  points. Even though we ended up in first place, earning the top position was no easy job; we were constantly back and fourth between the top three spots. Earning the top spot was definitely an accomplishment.
