Dear Mr. Sanderson,                     Ben C Rain students need more ways to show their creativity. This can be done by adding a theater experience class. The class will be an introduction to drama. Reflection

The first quarter of AP language and composition was challenging and interesting. It was difficult because of the restricted times. The teacher would allot a small amount of time, such as ten minutes, on things that would usually take me at least an hour to complete. For example, I was instructed to write a poem in class with a minimum of ten minutes. It was interesting because of the open discussions. In class the teacher would give a prompt and I, as well as the class, was allowed to discuss it honestly. However, before the class has concluded i would like to learn how retain relevant information quickly.

Special Place

I consider my special place to be my room. I feel more comfortable and confident in my room. When I am depressed or when i feel as if an anxiety attack is near, I immediately want to be in the comfort of my room. Being in that area is allows me to be content. It is my personal paradise. I am surrounded by all the things that are dear to me. Each object distinctly describes me. When I am down and need a shoulder to cry on, but i have no one to rely on, I go to my room where I shed my tears in private. That space is my safe haven. I have made many memories in there whether great or awful I cherish them all. I am the best part of me when I am lying around my safe haven because I am myself, something that no one has ever seen. I am beautiful in my room because there is no one judging me.

PCT Communicator Assignment

Can We Win on the Checkerboard?      Located in Washington, the Pacific Crest Trail is split, in a checkerboard format, into Forest Service land and land that was allotted to Burlington Northern railroad. Later the land was transported to Plum Creek Timber Company. It is still in their possession today. This mean a Pacific Crest trail user would experience both owned and public land while hiking. The land would include a mixture of natural areas and areas that would be challenging to maneuver across. Purchasing the checkerboard parcels of land has been a prerogative of both Pacific Crest Trail and the Forest Service. The previous parcel purchases has reduced timber harvesting. Another parcel is being secured. It is known as the Stampede Pass parcel. It was obtained by The Trust for Public Land from the owner, Plum Creek Timber Company. This was done because their options were limiting; they did not want it to be a possibility that the land was ...

Introduction

Hello, my name is Angel Scott and I am a junior at Ben C. Rain High School. For fun, I read and play badminton. Before this year has concluded, I would like to increase my grade point average, become fluent in Spanish, and memorize the periodic table. I am taking advance placement classes because they are challenging. They will allow me to be better prepared for college.
